I always find Christmas scrapbooking a bit of a struggle. One of the biggest reason's for this I think, is that a lot of the manufacturers Christmas paper collections that are released in the lead up to the festive season, are more often than not winter themed. There is the difficult bit for me, and I'm guessing anyone else that lives in the southern hemisphere. All of my Christmas photos scream SUMMER! Whether it be at the beach, in the pool or around the BBQ, the only thing cold about a Christmas in Australia is the beer.
So when I saw this months challenge at Scrap The Boys, I knew it was for me. The challenge this month was to do a Christmas themed layout with non-traditional colours. PERFECT!!!
I used Echo Park's "Paradise Beach" collection for this layout and the "At The Beach 1" flair set from {A Flair For Buttons}.
