I thought I would do a post today showing you how I store my ever growing stash of scrapbooking supplies. I find I am much more motivated to be creative when I know exactly where everything is and when all is in order. You will notice there is a bit of an IKEA theme here!
So here we go...
First off, these little beauties are see through magnetic containers from IKEA. The back of them have a strong magnet that will attach to any metal surface and you can see what you have stored in them without having to take the lids off. I use these to store some of my {A Flair For Buttons} as well as a variety of sewing buttons, brads, pins and needles.
This is another container I picked up from IKEA and I use it to store my Thickers and other alpha's. As you can see I think I am going to have to purchase another one as my AC Thickers addiction is getting larger...
This is my Cropper Hopper paper storage and in the far there you can see my D-Ring Albums that I store all my finished layouts in. The bookcase they are in is from the BESTA range at, you guessed it...IKEA!
These are just cheap baskets bought from supermarkets, K-mart, Target, etc. I use these to put bits and bobs in...
Possibly one of the most useful things I have bought from IKEA. This is actually supposed to be used for kitchen storage, but I could see it's scrapbooking potential. As you can see I store just about everything on it. It is mounted above my desk, so the things I use most regularly are instantly at hand when I am creating.
This is by far my favourite thing in my scraproom. I used to get sick of filing a layout away in an album every time I had finished and no one would ever get to see it, other then online. So I bought this wire curtain rail from IKEA and with the little hooks that came with it, I created my own little gallery. Visitors quite often stop and browse all my layouts now...
I hope you enjoyed some of my storage ideas in my scraproom. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
