Crate Paper {Acorn Avenue}

Just wanted to pop in and share some more layouts I have created for All Things Paper, this time using Crate Paper's "Acorn Avenue" Collection. I really loved this range and is great for those with boys or lots of outdoors photos.

{A Flair For Buttons} Storage

Last year I wrote a post about the different types of storage I use in my scrap room for my supplies. You can check the post out HERE.

One of the photos was of how I store my {A Flair For Buttons} using some cute little magnetic spice jars I bought from IKEA. Here is what they look like...

Now these containers have worked great, but unfortunately my flair collection has outgrown them, so I have been on the lookout for a new way to store my ever growing collection of buttons.

The answer was an empty Moccona coffee glass jar. With a little bit of paper, inking, sticking and of course some {A Flair For Buttons}, this is what I came up with...

Creative Scrappers Sketchbook | V2

Last year Kristine Davidson from Creative Scrappers released a fantastic sketchbook jam packed with inspiration. I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the designers for that book and have my layout, based on one of the sketches, published. You can check out my post with that layout HERE.

Echo Park Paper Layouts | For The Record 2 "Documented"

Sharing some more layouts today that I designed for kits at All Things Paper towards the end of last year. All three of these are using Echo Park Paper's For The Record 2 "Documented" collection. If you haven't guessed already, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Echo Park Paper and have used quite a few of their collections now for my designs. I constantly stalk their blog waiting to see new collections that I can get me hands on.

Sweet Day Layout #3 | Echo Park Paper

Sharing the third and last of my layouts using Echo Park Paper Co's "Sweet Day" collection today. I had so much fun working with these papers, with their soft pastel colours, it was really nice to make some more feminine layouts that I don't get do do nearly enough being the mother of boys. Sweet Day Layout #2 | Echo Park Paper

Today I'm sharing with you the second layout I created using the same collection...

Sweet Day Layout #1 | Echo Park Paper

In September last year, I showed you some sneak peaks of layouts I had created for a kit at All Things Paper using Echo Park Paper Co's "Sweet Day" collection. Now that all the kits have been sold, I can show you the entire layout and in the coming days will post the other two layouts I created with this collection.

Being a mother of two boys, sometimes scrapbooking with soft, pastel, girly colours can be a bit of a struggle for me. I managed however to scrap a photo of my eldest son outside a princess shop in Singapore. My friends daughter (who we were holidaying with) wanted to go into the shop and have a look, and as you can imagine the three remaining boys were none too impressed. I took the photo used in the layout of my then 8 year old son and the look on his face and his body language says it all really.

Hence the title "Not His Shop"...

I'll be back later in the week with more "Sweet Day" layouts to share.

Crazy time of year...

Things have been a little quiet to say the least on my blog in recent weeks. We have had a crazy, busy lead up to Christmas and then been even more crazy, busy between Christmas and New Years and now I sit here typing when really I should be packing and getting organised for our trip to New Zealand tomorrow. We don't leave until tomorrow night, so there's plenty of time....right?!?!

Anyway, just wanted to drop in and let you know I'm still here and looking forward to doing lots of sharing when we arrive home from the land of the long white cloud at the end of January.
